This is something we get asked an awful lot in our shop. Retail Fireworks have two main categories, Cat 2 and Cat 3.
Listed on these fireworks is the Minimum required safety distance. A safety distance is the distance between you, your audience and anything that may be harmed or damaged by the firework. Check you have the available space where you intend to use the firework, also pay attention to over head obstacle like trees or power lines.
Noise levels are also indicated on most fireworks, if you have a noise sensitive audience or surroundings then you can choose lower noise firework to suit your requirements.
